Bookings are for a minimum of three nights, with discounts automatically applied for additional nights. Two night stays can sometimes be accommodated at an extra charge of €45 per night – please email with two night stay requests. The maximum occupancy is two adults only – sorry, no infants, children or pets. A deposit of €300 is required on booking, with card details securely held by Stripe until the balance is charged 14 days before check-in. For bookings made within four weeks of check-in, full payment is required at the time of booking. The cancellation policy is the same as Airbnb. Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to seven days before check-in. No refund after that.

For those wishing to explore the area, West Cork has plenty to offer. There are three stunning peninsulas, with wild rugged scenery; the Mizen, the Sheep’s Head and the Beara all within driving distance from The Hidden Haven. Glengarriff National Park and Gouganebarra National Park have plenty of scenic hikes. Boats can be taken to Garnish Island or Whiddy Island. There are lots of activities such as horse riding, golf, kayaking and sea safaris in nearby Bantry or Glengarriff and both towns have a great selection of Irish craft shops, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes.
